Worst customer service of any tobacco store I've been to. Just today I went in and asked what the price was on a certain item and the person behind the counter just says "I don't know" in a rude, stand-offish tone of voice with no intention of checking. I stand there, a little confused, and say "...you don't know?" to which they just reply, "no." Okay... where's the customer service? On another occasion, the man behind the counter was very rude to my girlfriend and I. He was very short with us, with a pretentious, dismissive attitude. I too often leave this place with a gross feeling.

Go to Carrytown Tobacco or Higher Education instead. They always have friendly and helpful customer service.

Warning... no visible price tags. They will throw out a higher price to see if you'll take it at that. If not, that's when the haggling begins.
The first time I went to buy a bubbler, the guy told me he'd give me a "good price"...$65. So I left without purchasing anything because that was just too high.
Later that day the gentleman on my second visit (CJ) offered the same bubbler to me for $40. Needless to say I bought it immediately.

oh this shop made me feel like i’m back home in manhattan with a bunch of elegant Persian kids with impeccable taste running my leisure time habitats. i’m going to assume by his vast expertise regarding his wares and pristine treatment of every person that this is the young man’s own store. if not someone should give that man a raise! he is polite, intelligent... think he ever reads minds. my card was declined because banks are evil and i had to switch money from accounts, he didn’t even give me the oh my god are you are so poor look... nope he just waited a second. thank you sir, my 750 is parked right there but you can’t see it from here. oh this store is the type you drive an hour to and then still send your friends.what an entrepreneur i hope my son grows up to be a such an enterprising and kind young man. this is a real city style selection of real art glass and everything else you didn’t know you might but do need. this store was much goodness on a very otherwise terrible day.

Been going there for awhile, but they cannot keep stock of cigars. So very poor customer service rating. Improved understanding of language might help too!

By far best vape shop in cville. Incredible selection of everything. Excellent customer service, they really know what they are talking about. Not just trying to sell you incompatible junk. Absolutely best prices! Willing to make a reasonable deal and focuses on each customer and what they want. No need to go anywhere else!

This place is the absolute worst. Workers never wear masks during a raging pandemic and they sell fraudulent and broken products with no regard to the wellbeing of their customers. They will overcharge you for a leaky disposable vape that dies after a few hits- if you’re unfortunate enough to go here, check EVERYTHING you get before you buy it and make sure they’re not ripping you off (they will be)- save yourself time, trouble, COVID exposure, and money and just go somewhere else. The only reason anyone should go here is if they’re under 21 because I’ve never seen them card anyone.

Not only are the staff unknowledgeable and rude, they sell fake products. The only reason I ever went there was to get pods for my Mi-Pod, which not many other places sell, and they ended up being out. So, I ended up stocking up online. The packs I got online had a tamper proof sticker which has been missing on all the pods gotten from tobacco hut. The pods were also much more professional with writing on the sides of the cover, and have been hitting far better.

Skip this place. The only reason to go there is if you're underage, as I see kids in there looking like they're 14. They never card anyone.

My experience at the tobacco hut vape
was fantastic. The location is great, and easily accessed. The store is clean and I was immediately welcomed. I found exactly what I needed , for the right price . This isn’t an average “tabacco”shop, to just stop in and get roll ups or cigarettes. There’s a good culture, and huge selection here. Great vibes and good people. I highly recommend checking this place out.
