Review of HIGH ROLLERS CIGAR

HIGH ROLLERS CIGAR: A Mixed Bag of Customer Experiences

If you're looking for a tobacco or cigar shop in Las Vegas, you might come across HIGH ROLLERS CIGAR. This shop is located at 4480 Paradise Rd and offers in-store shopping and wheelchair accessibility. They also accept debit cards, credit cards, and NFC mobile payments.

However, customer experiences at HIGH ROLLERS CIGAR seem to be a mixed bag. Some customers have had positive experiences, while others have had negative ones.

On the positive side, some customers have praised the shop's cleanliness and quick, attentive service. One customer noted that the shop has a "nice selection of cigars" and "plenty of options." Another customer appreciated the "polite customer service" and "good prices."

On the negative side, some customers have had issues with the shop's pricing and customer service. One customer claimed that the owner was "always rude to customers" and charged different prices depending on who the customer was. Another customer felt that the shop was overpriced and accused the owner of being a "scammer." One customer even claimed that the shop sold them a defective product at more than twice the retail price and refused to give them a refund.

Overall, it seems that HIGH ROLLERS CIGAR might be worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a tobacco or cigar shop. However, it's important to keep in mind that customer experiences have been mixed, so your own experience may vary.

Expensive Poor Customer Service Unfair Pricing

On Wednesday (11/15/17) I went to this smoke shop for the first time, purchased Copenhagen Wintergreen Pouches for $6.34 - expensive. On Sunday (11/19/17) I went back to purchase another- convenience. There was a different man, both times, working the register, they looked like father and son but I could be wrong; definitely same ethnicity. I went in with my Mom's service dog both times but this time, unexpectedly, there was a huge dark brindle mix- German Shepherd behind the counter that immediately wanted to attack my dog. The cashier quickly addressed the situation with our dogs, thankfully. When I came in there was a blonde female customer in the midst of learning how to use whatever she just purchased and knowing whatever he was doing with her would take some time, he asked her if she minded if he helped me. I tell him I want the Copenhagen Wintergreen Pouches. He asks, "Anything else?" I say, "No thank you." He asks, "one or two?" I tell him, "one please" and he says, "$11.98". Surprised, I tell him I only wanted one. He says, "Right, $11.98" I tell him I was just in there 4-5 days earlier and the price, while expensive, wasn't even close to his price. The whole time I'm talking, he's shaking his head back n' forth with a scrunched up face that screamed "bulls**t." I don't know about you but when I'm being called a liar, it instantly pisses me off and I have to control myself from becoming loud and physically erratic [IE: waving hands, pacing, etc.] I barely finish, finding it hard to concentrate while he's making faces and vigorously shaking his head, before he blatantly calls me a liar and tells me that I wasn't there on Wednesday and there was no way, even if I had been there, that I purchased the chew for less. I told him, fuming, "Yes I was. You weren't here and if you were, you were in the back. There was a man, roughly 30, that helped me and he charged me $6.34." He refused to listen to me, he continued to call me a liar and when I took out my receipt to show him, he tried snatching it from my hands. When I pulled the receipt away, he stopped talking to me all together and tried helping the elderly man standing behind me. If I were you, I'd go somewhere else! They have no set prices, they mark it as they see fit and the more money you look like you have - the more you'll pay. They'll deny you've ever been a customer even if you can prove you were and they'll try to physically steal what's yours when you can prove you're right. The "convenience" mark up isn't within NV Law Ordinance. They came to America and feel it's okay to gouge as they see fit. Do NOT support them, they won't support you.

Overpriced Defective product Unprofessional behavior Poor customer service

If I could give this shop 0 stars I would. This business (if I can call even call it that) is one of the most illegitimate and unprofessional organizations I have ever dealt with. If you are reading this, DO NOT GO there unless you want to be ripped off or deal with extreme frustration. I am in the process of reporting the business to the Better Business Bureau.

To make a long story short, I purchased a product there that was sold to me at a 125% premium. They charged more than twice the retail price and acted like they were giving me a good deal. So if you buy anything from there, chances are you will be overpaying. I implore you to check out other more legitimate shops around the area before they rip you off at High Rollers Smoke Shop.

Furthermore, the product that I bought didn't even work (OVERPRICED + DEFECTIVE = DISASTER). I should have realized that they were selling me crap when the box was unsealed. I contacted the manufacturer of the product and they told me that the box should have been sealed. So this company apparently takes products our of their original packaging than tries to sell them. When I found out that the product didn't work, compounded with the fact that I had paid more than twice the retail price for it, I attempted to return it. The guy working the register was very rude, and kept insisting that the product worked. I told him to try it himself, but he refused. How in the world can you claim a product works, then refuse to even try it and verify this claim? It makes no sense but this is what happened. He wouldn't even give me an even exchange, which is essentially an admission of guilt that he sold me a defective product. I didn't have time to argue with him because I had to catch a flight. I told him I was not going to let this go until I got my money back and he laughed at me nonchalantly.

I went home and called the store again, asking to speak to a manager. I figured that any legitimate manager and/or owner would not let such horrible business practices carry on, considering that they could result in unfavorable legal ramifications. Unfortunately, the same guy who sold me the product picked up and paraded himself as the manager. He then hung up on me. As you are reading this, I want you to think of all the businesses that you have made transactions with. Have any sold you defective products at more than twice the cost, refused to let you return or exchange them with no explanation, refused to even attempt to verify whether or not they're defective, and then hung up on you when you tried to speak to a manager?

Overpriced Unwilling to Negotiate

Extremely overpriced cigars. Charging $17.99 for an Acid 1400cc that everyone else sells for $11.99. Would not budge so I did not buy.
